Former President Jerry John Rawlings has warned the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its members to stop using his pictures in designing campaign flyers.
A statement issued by the office of Mr Rawlings warned those producing NPP campaign materials with his pictures to desist from such practice as the country goes to the polls on December 7.
“The office of Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings has noted with concern the proliferation on social media platforms of computer generated New Patriotic Party (NPP) graphics and flyers using the image of the former President with accompanying campaign slogans.
“The office wishes to caution those who are producing these party materials to desist from such unethical practice at this crucial period,” the statement said.
