In a normal fashion of campaigning, some supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) battled in a friendly and non-aggressive manner at the Benab fuel station at Atomic Junction, near Madina in Accra.
The NPP supporters arrived at the fuel station in a pickup vehicle branded in party colours with loudspeakers blurting out campaign songs of their flag bearer.
But in no time, an NDC branded Mahindra vehicle carrying supporters in party colours and holding party paraphernalia parked on the other side of the road and this led to a challenge of slogans.
The NPP supporters had parked at the fuel station awaiting their flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who is on a four-day campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region.
