There a wind of change blowing across the country that not even the lack of money by the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) will stop it, the Director of Fundraising of the party, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta has said.
Though Mr Ofori-Atta conceded that the NPP is having "a difficult time to raise money", he said, the lack of it will not stop the will of the people to vote for change in the 7 December polls.
"I am not really moved by that because I think there is a certain spirit moving through the nation for change and that trumps it all," he said.
"I think there is a fourth component – that is whether the Lord is anointing this thing or not".
He said considering the number of supporters that thronged the International Trade Fair Centre to witness the launch of the party’s 2016 manifesto, if the NPP “is a broke party, then it means the Lord's hand is in it and we doing extremely well," Mr Ofori-Atta told Accra-based Joy FM.

it is a wind to bury your akyem tribalist. You think ndc is too easy to beat
The number of supporters who thronged the trade fair site was not more than ten thousand on a very high side, and that is less than 25% of the votes NPP secured in that constituency ( LA Dadekotopon) but yet still lost, so please do not be deceived by those numbers, it does not mean much. it's better people like you stay away from the campaign at least from the public eye, otherwise another defeat looms for Nana. The "akyem mafia" is a public enemy number one, so please Ken, concentrate on the behind the scenes stuff like you have been doing and hopefully your wishes may come true and nana may be elected and you can lay your hands finally on our pensions ( The tiers one and two), which is your principal objective. good luck!
Please go and pay the loan you contracted in the name of the NPP and even used our party's Headquarters as a collateral. You turn around thinking that everything is okay because people have decided not to talk.
