Spokesperson to the Flagbearer of the largest Opposition party in Ghana, New Patriotic Party, (NPP) Mustapha Hamid has stated that, the chances of Muslims getting leadership in Ghana in the future would be determined by the fate of Dr. Bawumia in this year’s election.
According him, even though he is optimistic of Dr. Bawumia becoming Vice President of Ghana next year, in event that the NPP loses the election because Muslims failed to vote for the party which has one of them as running mate (Dr. Bawumia), it will squash the chances of a Muslim ascending to such high office as people of the Islamic faith failed to appreciate the honour done Bawumia with the position of a running mate.
Mustapha Hamid said this during a rally to launch “Operation 70% agenda ” by the New Juaben South Constituency at Koforidua Zongo market square in the Eastern region.
He however urged Muslims to discount claims by the ruling National Democratic Congress that NPP is anti-Muslims.
“My brothers and sisters Muslims gathered here, we are educating ourselves with the aim of one day becoming the President or Vice President. But we presented our own brother Dr Bawumia twice, in 2008 and 2012 but we did not accept him and help him become the Vice President. For the third time if we reject him, in the future when ever any of us is looking for a high office of the land to occupy, no body will entrust that office into our hands. Because it will be said that Muslims don’t value what is good. I’m also telling you that when NDC comes and says they love Muslims more than the NPP, please ignore them, tell them that is not true,” Mustapha noted.

did you support Aliu who was in a better stead as a Muslim to lead this country. Find the answer to your puzzle in this question. Bawumia is a better person Aliu was not?
Hamid, you supported Nana at the expense of your own brother who was a step to the seat. You now turn around to say what? You are such a disgrace to Islam for churning out this palpable lie. Look how you treated Aliu and when everything appears to have died down you resurrect this matter in such a childish manner. Don't provoke some of us. You're at the very top there and what you is to please your paymasters and turn around to blame Muslims for not doing what? Shame on you!!!
one of the woes of Nana Addo is this fanatic paronoia individual called Mustapha Hamid, all his talkings appears like that of a TALIBAN guy.
