The flag bearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Mr Ivor Greenstreet, has said poor leadership must be voted out for development and freedom.
He said Ghanaians must make a bold decision to change the downward trend of development in the country by voting the CPP into power.
Mr Greenstreet was speaking at a mini rally at Elmina New Market in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Constituency last Friday as part of his visit to the Central Region.
He had earlier visited Ntranoa, Simiw, Abei, Kissi and Komenda in the KEEA Constituency and interacted with the chiefs and the electorate.
Party faithful clad in party colours gathered at the lorry park to welcome him.
He also used the occasion to introduce the CPP parliamentary candidate for KEEA, Mrs Rose Austin Tenadu, to the electorate.
Mr Greenstreet said Ghanaians must free themselves from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) rule of deception and vote for a party that would change their fortunes for the better.
24 Years is enough
He said for the last 24 years, political leadership had been between the NDC and the NPP but Ghana continued to struggle with youth unemployment, poverty and under development.
“These two parties are the same. Same parties of lies and deception. They give us empty promises, lies, deceit and false hope which have only left us poorer,” he stated.
He said 24 years was enough and Ghanaians must decide to move on with a new party that stood for development in honesty and truth.
He said the CPP represented God’s chosen party of brave, determined and honest people ready to save Ghana from the NDC and the NPP.
Mr Greenstreet said Ghanaians must decide to set themselves free from the bondage of the two dominant parties and added that the mismanagement of the country’s resources over the last 24 years must not be overlooked.
He said the only way to punish the two main parties for the mismanagement of the nation’s resources was to reject them through the ballot.
Mrs Austin Tenadu
Mrs Austin Tenadu urged the electorate to vote the CPP to power for better lives.
She said any Ghanaian who was tired of underdevelopment must vote for the CPP which had proven to be a party which had the wellbeing of the people at heart for accelerated development.

Oh CPP, if you are men with balls in your laps; and are serious to win election, you would not have SOLD your party to the NPP. Your running-mate is a die-hard NPP and the acting Chairman of the NPP was a CPP. Check the link and stop fooling yourselves. The Arkaah factor has NO relation here at all. We are watching you. Voting CPP is now a waste.
You are already exposed. A surrogate of Mahamah. ***barred word***. If you areseeking to occupy the seat of the president, attack the president. If you find nothing wrong with him, then shut your mouth and go and sit somewhere
This man can never attack the incompetent Mahama administration without enroping the NPP. Be bold Mr. IVOR and stop this cheap politics. If you want power, point out what is wrong now and don't be like Ayariga!
Your plan to support John Mahama through tge back door is clear for all to see. You and your chairman are selling the CPP cheaply to the Ndc for small chops. Always attacking Npp as if they are in power. You are a disgrace Greenstreet. Delle and Kabila are same.
