The “wild” gesticulations, abusive language and insults hurled at some MPs by Tamale North lawmaker Alhassan Suhuyini on the floor of parliament during Thursday’s debate on the Joe Ghartey Committee Report in connection with a bribery allegation made by Bawku Central MP Mahama Ayariga against the leadership of the Appointments Committee, is “most unfortunate” and “not the best”, Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has said.
Amidst a near-brawl on the floor during the debate, the first-time opposition MP, according to Mr Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, was heard and seen making abrasive and aggressive gestures at an MP as he flung insults with careless abandon.
“…He came to occupy the seat just close to where Ayariga sits… I’m talking about Suhuyini, and I’m saying that it’s most unfortunate. I mean you don’t conduct [yourself like that]. I mean on a couple of occasions, I’ve had word with him that he should watch his own attitude in the house, it’s not the best, on a couple of occasions he’s been made to apologise to people and so on and so forth,” Mr Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu told Joy FM’s Super Morning Show on Friday, 31 March.
According to the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Mr Suhuyini could be heard retorting wildly: “… Who are you to say that I should shut up, aren’t we here as MPs, aren’t we all equal?”
“He was positioned right behind where Muntaka [Mubarak] was seating, so, I thought that he was having a beef with Muntaka, so, I was signaling to Muntaka that he should not talk back, so, [Muntaka] he kept his calm, so, I don’t even know who he was making those wild gestures at but it’s certainly not good.”
Mr Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu described the whole spectacle as “an embarrassing spectacle and those of them involved should bow their heads down in shame.”

K or whatever he call himself is one of the uncivilized, ***barred word*** whose existence on this planet is less important than a donkey. What civil or religious war is he talking about? He doesn't know it's only f001ish people like he K will push to the war front by the sensible one to die first. K should know that he won't live to see the winner
Why has he become so arrogant all of a sudden? I dont blame him though.
My name is Koliko & I am the most F00OLISH individual you can find on this platform. I support NDC & just like my fellow Footsoldiers, we DON'T have human brains. No wisdom in whatever we say or write. We are bunch of F00OLS so I just want you all to ignore whatever I write here. Thank you!
It's bcos they don't eat dog meat. They don't fight over a common Guinea Fowl & kill one another. They don't behave F00OLISHLY like the Dagomba boy Suhiyini. And above all they have human brains unlike Koliko who is the most F0OOLISH individual on Social Media today.
We need more of such seen in the house. they must fight and beat themselves up. if they do this we shall see them as serious people. For now we are not benefiting from the money we spend on them. I will be glad if they can take weapons of mass destruction to the floor of the house to kill themselves.
Why is it always that, an educated ashianti is no different from those that sell dog chains and the shoe shine ones?
I nullify your comments. Beware, is it a good thing seeing MPs in that manner? what do they have to offer? The MP in question should calm down and learn but not exhibit dis-respect and arro-gance. I wish him well
Folks, am not surprised this Suhunyi is advertising the typical Dagombas altitudes and behaviours in parliament. Too abusive and quarrelsome. I have been saying there's no difference between an educated Dogomba and an illiterate Dagomba when it comes to trouble making, insults and attacks. In fact some of the educated Dagombas are pompous and always wants to be head. Suhunyi behaviour is a typical Dagomba altitude always display in Tamale and it's environ.
I thought you were wiser than K but after reading what you wrote, I found it difficult to differentiate you two!
Ghana MP'S are bunch of 1d10000000000ots..................both majority and minority
