The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has dared the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to implement the Special Prosecutor Bill if it does not fear its implementation.
According to the outspoken NDC scribe, the NPP bigwigs and activists have been touting the Special Prosecutor Bill as something that the members of the NDC were afraid of its passage and implementation.
He explains that members of NDC are rather interested in the passage of the Special Prosecutor Bill and are never afraid of the bill, adding that it was rather the members of NPP who are scared of the bill.
Mr Asiedu Nketiah made the remarks on Accra-based Okay FM Friday morning.
He said everything about the Special Prosecutor Bill has been done in Parliament and has been sent to the office of the president to sign it, adding that it was the president who is delaying the process because they are afraid of the bill.
Because they have seen the implications of the special prosecutor, they are now running away from it, he said and added that if they are men, they should sign the Special Prosecutor Bill and pass the Right to Information (RTI) Bill… and let us work with the two so that we can see those who are corrupt and those who are not.
Mr Asiedu Nketiah was of the view that the Special Prosecutor would rather deal with officials in the current government due to the several corrupt deals they have been engaged in.

Welcome KOO NIMO, the new President of Ghana... the most honest man in Ghana who will lead us to economic independence. He trusts no man but himself and so will work alone without ministers bcos he cannot trust them. Massa, there is nowhere in this world where governance is corruption-free. You can only work to reduce it...Mr Cleanest.
For me ; I think Asiedu Nketia brovado in throwing down the gaunlet to the NPP is justifiedbecause we all know what Nana said he was going to do during the election about the blatant stilling in high places by Jon Mahama and the NDC but what do we see today ;we have the NDC rather taunting Nana Addo that he cannot do FOKOOOOO!!!and from what we know the bill for the special prosecutor is ready ; the question is ; HAS NANA ADDO GOT POLITICAL COLD FEET; is Nana Addo afraid that the same rule can be used against NPP members because if the bill is ready what is the delay ; for me Nana Addo should put his mouth where his money is because talk is CHEAP !!!!!!; how can you have NDCcriminal thiffs running around challenging the government to send them to court ; does the NDC know something we do not know -MAY BE !!!!because for I have never trusted any politician including Nana Adddo ; they are all for themselves ; family ; girl frineds and their parties ; WHO SAID NANA ADDO IS AN HONEST POLITICUIIAN -BULL >>>>>>>SHEET !!!!

I dont want to hear any of your members or sympathizers complain of witch-hunting once the SP start their work.
Asiedu Nketia, yours is an empty bravado. Hope you'll not shout 'witch-hunting' when the game starts. You'll be one of the first batch to be hauled there and then to Teshie. ***barred word***.
