“I think that it is a refreshing news in 2018. It appears to me that the 2018 appointment of Martin Amidu clearly shows that Nana Akufo-Addo might want to change the course and look at an all-inclusive government” said National Democratic Congress [NDC] Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Constituency, Inusah Fuseini.

His comment follows the appointment of Martin Amidu as Special Prosecutor.

Martin Amidu, a member of the NDC and a former Attorney General, was named as the Special Prosecutor by the President today, Thursday, January 11, 2018.

He is expected to be vetted and approved by Parliament in the coming days.

Congratulating Martin Amidu on his nomination on Citi Eyewitness News, Friday, Inusah Fuseini said “Martin Amidu has also distinguished himself and has shown that he is beyond control and that is a plus for him. I have no doubt in my mind that if he gets the approval from Parliament he will not look at one side. He will look at both sides and will pursue corruption as it ought to be pursued”

"He will be fair and impartial..." he added.

This is NOT ALL INCLUSIVE govt. If HE Nana Addo intends an all inclusive what stops him from choosing yourself Inusah Fuseini, or HE Edward Adjaho or Joshua Alabi, even Naamoale etc as the SP but choose an embittered sacked ndc member, full of vengeance, overflowing with bitterness. All-inclusive govt indeed

I hope by this comment from Inusah Fuseini is not going to make it look like he is one of them so can go to him to be lenient with their former administration appointees. My wish is for Sir Martin Amidu not entertaining people like Inusah Fuseini to influence h since he is part of the create l000t and share brigade who have done great disservice to this nation, they are the ones who insulted him for pursuing Woyome and advising the guy not to pay a dime to Ghana. How come they are changing their tune to praise and congratulate Sir Martin Amidu? Whether congrats or whatever he is there to work for Ghana and the good people and will bring you all and whoever have stolen from the state. That's all Ghanaians are crying for and he must protect his integrity and reputation, he shouldn't allow some ndc good wishes blind him, they are still who they are and will never change. He should remember how they insulted and denigrated him because of defending Ghana and protecting her and do the work as expected to be a good example for Ghana.
