A performance appraisal survey on members of parliament (MPs) has adjudged MP for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo as the best performing minority MP for 2017.
The survey, conducted by indigenous research and investigation company, FAKS Investigation Services, found that of the 3,702 respondents sampled, 90.1 percent of them scored Mr Adongo as the best performer among the MPs on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He was followed by Laadi Ayii Ayamba, MP for Pusiga, who scored 88.7 percent.
Overall, the survey, which assessed the performance of some politicians and public servants in 2017, adjudged MP for Tamale South Constituency as the overall best MP in 2017.
First timer
FAKS Investigations said the survey was conducted between October and December and sought the opinions of Ghanaians as to which Ministers, Deputies, Regional Ministers, MPs, PROs, among others, had done exceptionally well and need to be recognised.
This is the sixth time FAKS is announcing assessment results on the performance of politicians and public servants.
Adongo, although a first time MP has endeared himself to many Ghanaians, especially sympathisers of the opposition NDC, with his witty debates and superior arguments, on economic and governance issues.
His emergence as best performing minority MP makes it the first time that a representative of the Bolgatanga Central Constituency has been given such recognition. His predecessor and former MP, Opam Brown Akolbire, was repeatedly ranked at the bottom in previous surveys.
Adongo, a chartered accountant by profession, has been one of the few vocal MPs on the NDC side, taking on the government on a number issues bordering on its handling of the economy and governance.
It is understood that his approach to and understanding of issues, superior contribution to debates on the floor of Parliament and ability to proffer alternative policies in the year made him stand out among his peers.

A big hoax!!! Where and when and on which platform . tweaa .
But in NDC, who ever open his mouth wide is regarded as good. Insults at people who go contrary to NDC views is the best. A persistent liar in NDC is super best.
With Propaganda?
Hahahaha if Adongo is good why he didnt help NDC to make the economy good and they destroy the economy and everything become basaa please we are not ***barred word*** ooh let me tell you guys
The true fact is that Mr. Adongo is good. He was my lecture. the way he would explained the topic for you would easily get the meaning of the whole topic. please I want him to lecture the economic teem of NPP.
Adongo is really the best.I heard he was very smart in high school as well. Its good he is applying his academic powess to address our bread and butter issues of our country. Attah Akyeah of NPP also did well when he was a first time MP in 2008.I think most of the first time MPs in the NDC are doing very well.Sam George, and Suhini also did well. Good job guys
Overall best MP for 2017 is MP for Tamale South,Haruna Iddrisu is also from the minority side. Then the best performing MP from the minority ide is Isaac Adongo. I need some education here by those who did the survey
Adongo great keep it up. you are good
If I may asked Mr. Adongo, how much he paid to be place the best Iol . HOW CAN THIS BLOODY 1AIR BECOME THE BEST MP in NDC ?? I mean HOW.......la
Oh yes! He's the man. but the second position man i beg to differ. we have hardworking MP from the minority-side who in my opinion and in the opinion of many Ghanaians have done much better than Laadi Ayamba. Talk of Hon. Okudjeto Ablakwa, Hon Ato Forson, Hon. Muntaka and many others. So the second place candidate is arguably incorrect.
