The encounter with the media is very good. It throws more light on what the government of the is doing for the people. My worry is the time taken for the President to brief the press before questions. I think the media encounter should be structured like to take an exam. The briefing should be excluded. After introduction by the Minister for Information, max 5 minutes, then followed by questions from Journalists. Journalists should also desist from long preamble and ask questions right away. This will give room for more questions to be asked.
am a diehard NPP supporter, but am very disappointment in Nana Addo comment on committees report for the BRAZIL WORLD CUP. #sack ASIAMAH NOW#
Kofi, I don't want to bad mouth you because I see you as naive. No where in the world has government stood still because of the l00ting and mismanagement of a former government. Ask where Rwanda got money toan age their country after their war, ask how Somalia with nothing us moving on the country hasn't been closed down, it takes courage and wisdom to turn poverty into wealth. There are people in Abossey Ojai and makola who had nothing before going to those places but are somebody's now, and there were others who had but are staying home now doing nothing. It all depends on the person and his/her vision Ghana is rich but ndc looted the money that came in everyday but Akufo Addo is keeping that money ndc were chopping when it came in, to do business and that's why he is able to move the country forward without shutting it down. Wait for the special prosecutor to assume office there you will see the damage and evil that ndc has done this country. I'm sorry for you but your birdbrains have exposed you as a manipulated ndc footsoldier who doesn't know why and how the world came into existence.
@MAXWELL YES JOHN MAHAMA FAILED IN HANDLING PUBLIC FINANCES BUT WHERE IS THE AKUFFO ADDO GOVERNMENT GETTING MONEY FROM? PLEASE DON'T TELL ME IT IS FROM TAXES BECAUSE THE TAX BASE HAS NOT INCREASED AND THE GOVERNMENT DID NOT MEET ITS TAX BASE. ALSO THE GOVERNMENT HAS NOT PUT IN MEASURES TO INCREASE COLLECTIONS YET. IF THEY WILL DO IT IN THE FUTURE, FINE.THE GOVERNMENT HAS NOT YET PUT IN SPENDING EFFICIENCIES (I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT WHAT SOME HAVE SAID BECAUSE IT HAS NOT HAPPENED IN REALITY). PROCUREMENT HAS NOT BEEN STREAMLINED AS RECKLESS PROCUREMENT IS STILL GOING ON. GRANTS HAVE NOT IMPROVED. FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT HAS NOT IMPROVED. SO WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM? IT POINTS TO ONE PLACE AND WE WILL COME BITING US BADLY. I PROMISE YOU.
WE CAN CONFEDENTLY SAY THAT NANA ADDO WILL CARRY GHANA TO THE PROMISED LAND. TRULLY JOHN MAHAMA CAME TO SPENT OUR MONEY RECKLESSLY WITHOUT EVEN PAYING CONTRACTORS, NHIS, TIER 2 PENSION ECT,ECT.WHAT ABOUT THE MONEY HE BORROWED THE OVER 122 BILLION CEDIS. WHY DIDNT HE PAY ALL THE DEBTS BUT LEFT THEM FOR NANA TO STRUGGLE TO PAY.UPON ALL THIS MESS HE IS STAGING A COME BACK, I WANT TO TELL JOHN MAHAMA THAT THOSE WHO VOTED AGAINST HIM ARE STILL THERE WAITING TO VOTE AGAINST HIM IN 2020.
