The founder and leader of the All People’s Congress, Dr Hassan Ayariga has called President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government not to dwell too much on the Special Prosecutor in fighting corruption in Ghana because the fight against corruption is bigger than the special prosecutor.
He said we cannot fight corruption under capitalism system of governance, ideologically it breads corruption. We will need to be each other’s keeper in order to fight corruption”
According to him, the problem of corruption is the winner takes all systems of government that has allowed everyone to think that once his party comes to power he/she must be rich.
He noted that, corruption is not only about bribes. Government loses greatly and development is very slow and expensive when we engage in corruption, we need to put in place relevant institutions and task them to deliver according to their abilities and resources.
He continued that, government should educate citizens on different types of corruption. It is so important to understand the different kinds of corruption to develop smart responses.
Mr Ayariga made this assertion when he addressed the media on the true state of corruption in the country at the party’s headquarters, Haatso in Accra.

What does the leader of the APC know about corruption apart from being part of it? Which nation is more corrupt than China and Venezuela and are they capitalists? Which of the Scandinavian countries is socialist and are they not the least corrupt countries in the world? Which country usually leads the corruption index s the least corrupt in Africa? Is it not Botswana and is it a socialist country? Hassan must know the woes of Africa started with the advent socialism and those who introduced it to Ghana are those to be blamed for the surge of corruption in Ghana. it must also be noted that the present NDC people who have been described by many as the most corrupt entity Ghana has ever had are the grandsons and daughters of those who wanted to impose socialism on Ghana!
