Government will from Wednesday, November 21 begin a bi-weekly engagement with the media to give information on its policies.
A release from the Ministry of Information Monday under the signature of a Deputy Information Minister, Pius Enam Hadzide, said the move is “in fulfillment of its mandate to disseminate information on government’s policies and programmes”.
All engagements, which have been scheduled to take place at the Ministry’s Conference Room, will be addressed by the sector minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
Interested media houses are expected to apply to the Public Relations Unit of the Ministry for accreditation before coverage.
All briefings, according to the Ministry, will also be live on its official handles on Facebook and Twitter for the general public to follow.
