"I am sorry; I will not do that again," says Mohammed Sulemana, to Sam George.
Sulemana was the National Security operative who slapped the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram constituency during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election.
Sulemana made this apology when he appeared before the Justice Emile Short Commission of Inquiry, Friday.
According to him, he slapped Sam George because of some tribalistic comments he made. However, at the time he didn't know he was a Member of Parliament.
"My Lord, I was guilty. I regret what I did...I'm sorry and I will not do that again. When you offend somebody and ask for forgiveness and it comes from your heart then that person will forgive you" he said.
He further asked the "people of Ghana to forgive me and I ask the Almighty Allah to also forgive me".

'........ at the time he didn't know he was a Member of Parliament', so you will continue to slap we the voters. What an ***barred word*** farm we live in. I wish all voters will listen and stop voting.
THIS RIFFRAFF DOES NOT NEED APOLOGY. YOU DID WHAT IS RIGHT.YOU DESERVE PRAISE.
PLEASE DON'T APOLOGIZE. YOU DESERVE PRAISE FOR YOUR MEASURED APPROACH TO THE 1D10+ SAM GEORGE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR ETHNICITY HAS BEEN USED TO INSULT YOU BY SOMEONE UNDESERVING OF THE TITLE HON. SAM GEORGE WILL MEET HIS COMEUPPANCE ONE DAY AND IT WILL BE WORSE THAN A SLAP. EFUUU. PLEASE RETRACT THE APOLOGY
Hatred, mistrust and plain stuupidiitty have combined to make you deaf and blind. The honourable lady on the Commission is not Mrs. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu. It's rather Prof. Henrietta Mensa-Bonsu, a celebrated Law Professor, which only vicious people like you find difficult in identifying. Gyimi-gyimi sua nyansa kakra ne ebeboa wo.
I also need an apology otherwise i will look for you and slap you for not slapping him enough. i wanted to slap him but you said i should leave to you to handle only for you to go and just romance him. I need an apology now!
Why should the commission ask him if he will apologize and what did they expect him to say? he didn't apologize from his heart but the commission asked him to do that and for what nobody knows who is Sam George? is he better than the one he insulted because he is a Northerner ?Mrs Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu shouldn't at all have asked that question it is prejudice! are we in an ***barred word*** farm? has Sam George the right to insult the guy because he is an mp but he has no right to slap him is that what the woman is telling us? this is shameful if black Africans can discriminate among themselves in such a manner, I'm disappointed in Mrs Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu! I don't have any hope in the report they will present to the president because it is biased already!
So will braa George accept this appology or not? Free slap.
Oh why do you apologize when E.T Mensah and Ade Coker are looking for you to give you more slapping contracts? Sam George needs more slaps. You should have made it harder to send him reeling on the floor.
So a non member of parliament could be slapped!
HE'S JUST A ***barred word*** ***barred word***.U SLAP SOMEONE AND LATER ON U COME TO APOLOGIZE AFTER SEVERAL DAYS.HE'S JUST A MISCREANT.IS THAT WHAT THE KORAN TEACHES?JUST GO ROUND AND BE SLAPPING PEOPLE AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS,THUNDER STRIKE THAT GUTTER U CALLED MOUTH.
