The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, Sam Dzata George has denied hurling 'tribalistic' insults at Mohammed Sulemana, the National Security operative who slapped him.
Mohammed told the Emile Short Commission of Inquiry that he slapped the MP because he insulted him; however, at the time, he didn't know Sam George was a legislature.
However, the operative apologised to the MP saying "My Lord, I was guilty. I regret what I did. Whenever you err, what you need to say is 'I'm sorry and I will not do that again"
However, in a post on Facebook, Sam George wrote:
"I am gobsmacked that the Commission would accept the lie that I insulted the hoodlum who attacked me. Where in the video that they have played repeatedly did anyone hear an insult?
The claim that I uttered insults to him based on his tribe is sickening. Anyone who knows me would testify that even in my imperfection, I have NEVER shown or exhibited any ethnocentric proclivities. I see myself as a Ghanaian. Nowhere in the videos that have been widely circulated do you hear me reference any tribe in all my utterances.
The truth can NEVER be suppressed".

I am sure that if Kennedy Agyapong is beaten on the streets for some of his antics, the same will be applied to him. Just an observation.
B0R1NG B0R1NG B0R1NG.change your tune a bit. Always stuck on the word h00dlum. Tweaaaa. Your lies were exposed at the commission and in any civilized democracy, Sam George will not be in Parliament for his actions during the by-elections. Give me a break. The guy should have stamped on your empty block head. siaaaaaa
HOW CAN GEORGE BE BELIEVED. WATCHING CHARGING MENACINGLY TOWARDS THE PICK UP IT WAS OBVIOUS HE WAS POINTING AT SOMEONE AND BY INSTINCT BEFORE THIS COMMITTEE WAS SET UP, I AM MORE THAN CONVINCED HE MUST HAVE SAID SOMETHING HIGHLY PROVOCATIVE TO WARRANT THOSE FRIENDLY SLAPS. INDEED HIS ACTS DURING VARIOUS ELECTIONS PROVES HE IS TROUBLESOME AND DESERVES DISCIPLINE BY REGULAR SLAPS TO KEEP HIM STEADY. IN FACT, NINGO PRAMPRAM COULD DO BETTER GETTING A MUCH DECOROUS PERSON TO REPRESENT THEM NOT THIS TYPE.
We know Sam George is someone who can attack even the disabled and REFUSE to retract. He unrepentantly said this to a disabled who is wheelchair bound.......“Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs some elevation to see the Better Ghana.” A character who can do this will use ethnocentric insults with cheeky ease. He should have been slapped harder.
SAM, YOU ARE BECOMING ON BECOMING. YOU ARE TOO KNOWN. YOUR WORDS 'CAN YOU KILL A MAN IN HIS OWN HOUSE'. WHO KILLED A MAN IN HIS OWN HOUSE? YOU WERE JUST THROWING YOUR WEIGHT ABOUT TOO MUCH THE SLAP SILENCED YOU AND THAT BROUGHT PEACE.NEXT TIME YOU WILL ACT MATURELY.
I think Suleman is right. One does not expect him to know all the MPs in Ghana. Again, no sa-ne or right thinking person would expect an MP to behave like Sam George did. This should serve as a lesson to those who want to be accorded respect by society
Why do you always want to twist the truth? How do you expect the commission to judge on your behalf whiles the hearing has not ended? I heard you screaming the shooting the killing of your parliamentary candidate which turned out to be false. How then do you want Ghanaians to believe that you didn’t insult him?? Yes, the truth will speak for itself. God dey we dey.
But Sam George, that's your DNA, rambunctiousness is your everyday character. You did same during the NDC presidential primaries.
THE COMMISSION HAS NOT AFFIRMED NOR DENIED THE PURPORTED SAM GEORGE REMARKS. THE MP DID NOT BEHAVED AS AN MP SO THE GUY COULD NOT IDENTIFY HIM. HE IS SORRY FOR THE SMALL SLAP OR SLAPS. TAKE THE APOLOGY AND MOVE ON. NEXT TIME JUST BEHAVE LIKE MP SO THAT YOU CAN BE IDENTIFIED AND REGARDED AS MP.
