Nollywood Iron lady Patience Ozorkor aka Mama G who was in Ghana during the Christmas season, was seen sleeping in public amidst all the noise and heavy presence of paparazzi.
Madam Ozorkor, known for being a very strong and principled woman in the various roles she plays in her movies couldn't obviously control herself in public.
Mama G who was seated right at the front row at the just ended Ghana Movie Awards 2012 with veteran Nigerian actor Alex Osifo, Ghanaian Actress Vivian Achor, Yvonne Nelson, Dan Tei Mensah and Nadia Buari, was spotted by Peacefmonline.com cameras sleeping uncontrollably, in spite of the fact that the program was live on TV.
Patience, a nominee on the night, seemed to be bored by the snail pace of the event which started as late as 11:30pm and disorganized evening decided to sleep in the full glare of all the lights and sound as she was tired of waiting for her category to be mention.
Nonetheless, the Nigeria star actress finally woke up from her slumber and mounted the stage to receive the award for Best Actress in an African Collaboration and dedicated it to her late husband.
She said she was particularly grateful for her husbands support for her acting career. She thanked her children for being there for their father before he died, since she was on location when the sad incident occurred.
The ace actress received cheers from her Ghanaian fans when she got on stage to pick up her awards. She thanked her Ghanaian fans for the love and support for her career.
