Nigerian singer Tiwatope Savage-Balogun, known in showbiz as Tiwa Savage thrilled patrons Thursday when she performed at this year’s Aiteo CAF Awards which was held at Accra International Conference Centre.
The ‘Mavin Records’ act headlined the award ceremony with terrific performances from several of her hit songs to the admiration of the audience as they chanted along with her.
Her creative performance won her the admiration of the masses present as she rendered hit songs including ‘My darling’, ‘All over’ among others.
She ‘killed’ the night as the whole auditorium got lit up with her ‘girl power’ carrying along a singing audience with the magic of this popular tune.
Tiwa Savage earned great points for Nigeria in this battle of music with her performance.
The 2017 edition of Aiteo CAF Awards also witnessed performances from Nigerian acts, Wizkid, Patoranking, Phyno, Flavour, Tiwa Savage and Olamide.
Congolese singer, Fally Ipupa and Toofan of ‘Tere Tere’ fame from Togo were also at the event.
For Ghana, singer Efya sang Ghana’s National Anthem while Kidi interestingly was asked to perform after the event was over, basically to empty seats when the live feed had been cut off.

Maybe the organizers were afraid Shatta might end up slapping someone on stage should there be a mistake during his performance hence marring the international show because the whole world was watching.I think they were just taking precautions. No yawa movements here.
Ghanaian artists like Shatta have disrespected them selves long before even the main planning of the main event and u now want to be respected. siaaaaaah! Maybe Ebony will make the list next. EBONY never sing DISS SONG in your carrier okay? Sing like GAZA SLIM cos u have a great future. I LIKE U UR STYLE.
This is a warning to Shatta Wale...and all those who respond to his salvos. Shatta recorded over 180 songs in 2017 and about only two makes sense. The rest are crappy diss songs with cheap choruses. You think CAF is a small body like your pub, they are people with manners and innovational ideas. Now, all of you tell me, which song in Ghana can go international? And which artist? Jon Benjamin warned you but u didn't listen...live and learn.
Oooooooh no no no no... when are we going to wake up from our slumber? So even in our own country, we allow ourselves to be disrespected! Seriously? Can u imagine this show event being organised in Nigeria? Be rest assured the majority of performers will damn well come from Naija. But hoo Ghana di3, they’ve taken us for fuuuuuls and the worst culprits are Ghanaians. We do this to ourselves. We always cherish and put premium on anything foreign even if it’s from neighbouring African countries, no disrespect to them. But can u imagine if what happened to Kidi happened to a Nigerian? Really Ghana? Agyimifuo no d)))))so dodo. Nkwas.i1.sem sei yaaaaa na mo dii
so when will Ghanaian artists be respected?
And what is dazzling about this??...
