Ghanaian actress and philanthropist, Yvonne Okoro has supported Black Queens, the national senior female team with a whooping amount of $10,000 cash.
The actress’ deed comes after she promised to extend a grant to the Black Queens after they came third in the recent tournament held in Abidjan.
Yvonne Okoro promised to gift the team 10,000 dollars upon their victory.
Finally she has fulfilled that promise. In an event held at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, she handed over a cheque of the said amount.
According to her, she is totally for women empowerment, and she believes her deed will go a long way to help the Black Queens and invites others to help the team.
She as well thanked bloggers for their support and cautioned them against false publications.
