Tema Youth owner Wilfred Osei Kwaku, affectionately called Osei Palmer, insists government has 'no power' to dissolve the FA.
The country's football has been thrown into chaos after an investigative piece by journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas revealed widespread corruption in the game.
The ruling New Patriotic Party has been forced to dissolve a five-member committee tasked to restructure football in the powerful West African nation as pressure begins to mount on the government.
The country's government are taken steps to dissolve the association over claims of being a tool for corruption - a stance which is being challenged by clubs and the football association.
But Tema Youth owner Wilfred Osei Kwaku is adamant and insists the ruling party has 'no power' to dissolve the association.
"The clubs are legitimately registered company. But the clubs have been told they don't have legitimate right to exist," he told Asempa FM.
"The government should let the officials know whether it's legitimate to own a club or not.
"As a club owner, I have employed about 60 people." Have I not contributed something to the economy of the country?" he quizzed.
"The government can not do football without resorting to FIFA. The reform will need the involvement of the Executive Committee of the FA. That is what FIFA will tell the government.
"The IMC set up by the government will not be recognised by FIFA. he claimed.
Ghana’s Deputy Attorney General Godfred Odame has claimed FIFA does not recognize the current FA administration.

Palmer keep quite and stop that nonsens’e. You sat there for Randy Abbey and His Men to trap your Boss .Instead Of you to find a way to meet the Gov’t your there and spinning tras’h.Wait till it gets your turn.Randy Abbey is coming after YOU
"But Tema Youth owner Wilfred Osei Kwaku is adamant and insists the ruling party has 'no power' to dissolve the association." Ok, your will against the will of the people in Ghana, who will win. CORRUPT people! We can not sit for football people to STEAL all in the name of FIFA says you can not dissolve GFA. WAIT and see real law and your size!
So Palmer, are you hapi with the nature of how Ghana Soccer has been run down by you the football people? Are you hapi.
All these unfortunate characters are the epitome of how our football has gotten to this bottom low. Build your own stadia, use your own money when you are going to africa cup and world cup. Get your own country to play for and have your own flag. Noooooooo.oooooooon..se.nse
Instead of helping Gov't to restore the little credibility GFA now has, if any, you are here flexing your muscles. Why would I pay to watch a whose outcome has been predetermined? Pray that the Govt sanitizes the Association, else dont expect people to pay and watch your matches.
Are you saying the government has no right to arrest you if you kill your child because you gave birth to that child? Every society is governed by laws, rules and regulations. And there are leaders to ensure people abide by these tenets for the smooth running of that society. Corruption is one of the problems of the country and the leaders have every right to put things right when it is detected in any organisation, private and public. I wonder if FIFA will condone corruption in any form in any country in football administration. Then FIFA will be a ***barred word*** federation.
Osei Palmer go ahead and run your football if you think Government have no power to dissolve the GFA. Nobody is stopping you from running your club. Your club is a limited liability company so does it means that you can use the club to do anything you want to the detriment of the Nation right?
