Head coach of the Black Stars, Goran Stevanovic, has released a 23-man squad of the senior national team, the Black Stars for two international friendly matches, which forms part of preparations towards the 2012 Africa Nations Cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
A statement from the GFA said Ghana will play Sierra Leone on November 12, and take on Gabon on November 15, in Paris, France.
Goalkeeper Adam Kawarasey of Stromgodest, Norway, retains his place in the team alongside, Ernest Sowah (Berekum Chelsea) and Daniel Adjei (Liberty Professionals) in the goalkeeping department.
Massawudu Alhassan (FC Genoa) John Paintsil (Leicester City), Isaac Vorsah (TSG Hoffenheim), Lee Addy (Red Star Belgrade), Daniel Opare (Standard Liege) and Sumaila Rashid (Ebusua Dwarfs) makes up the defensive set up, whilst Samuel Inkoom (FC Dnipro), Kwadwo Asamoah, Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu (Udinese), Sulley Muntari (Inter Milan) Anthony Annan (Vitesse Arnhem), Charles Takyi (St Pauli), Abu Mohammed (Stromgodest), Derek Boateng (FC Dnipro) Quincy Owusu-Abeyie (Panathinaikos FC) and Andre Ayew (Olympique Marseille) completes the call up for the midfield.
Al Anin striker Asamoah Gyan, will join Prince Tagoe (Bursaspor) Derek Asamoah (Pohang Steelers) and Jeffrey Schulpp (Leicester City) as the attackers for the double assignment.
