Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko are set to name Abdul Karim Zito as their next coach.
He will replace Maxwell Konadu who led Kotoko to the first league title in four years last season.
Konadu wants to fully concentrate on his job as Ghana national team assistant coach.Zito, a former Kotoko player and coach, is said to be the preferred choice of the club�s Executive Chairman Dr KK Sarpong.
He has rich coaching experience from the Ghana Premier League after handling Hearts of Oak, BA Stars and King Faisal.Zito has also coached Nigerien side Sahel Sporting club.
He was a member of the Kotoko squad which won the African Clubs Championship Cup in 1983.
