Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has become the fifth Ghanaian player to end up as the top scorer of an Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
With four goals and joint-top with Nigerias Emmanuel Emenike, the Spain-based enforcer has been named as the joint top scorer.
He becomes the fifth player from his country to achieve that feat.
Only four Ghanaian players Ben Acheampong, Osei Kofi, Opoku Afriyie and George Alhassan have finished the competition as top scorers before Wakaso burst onto the scene.
Wakaso gets the Golden Boot award in his maiden appearance in Africas flagship football tournament.
