Asante Kotoko have moved to the summit of the Glo Premier League for the first time this season but via the head-to-head rule.
The Porcupine Warriors won 3-0 away in Berekum against Arsenal to leapfrog Chelsea to the top.
Michael Akuffu put Kotoko in front at the Golden City Park in the 14th minute before Abdul Aziz made it 2-0 after 42 minutes.
After the interval, Kofi Nti Boakye finished off a move and his goal put the game beyond the relegation candidates.
With four more matches to end the season and a title defence in sight, Kotoko will be eager to avoid any slips.
