Ghana's home-based national team played out a goalless draw with Mali on Sunday in preparation for next year's African Nations Championship - CHAN.
The friendly afforded Maxwell Konadu another opportunity to assess his team after they lifted the GoTV Wafu Cup last month.
And for Mali, who have also qualified for next year's competition, the game gave them a chance to test their readiness.
Ghana are aiming for a Cup success at the CHAN competition to be hosted by South African from 11 January - 1 February 2014.
Sixteen African sides will be taking part in the competition reserved for home-based players of member countries.
Ghana were losing finalist in the first edition of the tournament in 2009 hosted by Ivory Coast but were unable to make an impact in the 2011 event.
