The centre-back was not only sent off but his side lost in a 3-0 French Ligue 1 encounter on Sunday. The budding guardsman saw two yellow cards being thrust at him for some hard tackles.
His side conceded two goals in the first half and after the interval Alexandre Lacazette sealed victory for the hosts in the 76th minute.
