The ex-Juventus star has predicted that the Bison will return to the form that made him such a great player as he relaunches his career in the Italian top flight.
Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has tipped Michael Essien to be successful at Milan after completing a deal with the Rossoneri on Monday.
The former Chelsea midfielder was down the pecking order at the Stamford Bridge and had to turn to the Serie A to relaunch his career.
He will be unveiled to the press on Tuesday, January 28.
Well I got to know the news about Essien on Friday afternoon and I am happy for him, Appiah told Allsports.com.gh. We all know what he has been through - a big world-class midfielder who was suddenly finding things hard.
Playing for AC Milan in Italian football will suit his style. Milan is the one club where I can say they are like a family. All the players play there for years so I wish him luck and he will return to the form that made him such a great player, the former Juventus ace predicted.
