Local Black stars and Kotoko stalwart defender, Abeiku Ainooson could not hold back his tears when Mauritanian referee Mohammed Hamada blew his whistle for the end of proceedings against Liberian side, Barrack Young Boys (BYC).
Kotoko were eliminated on the away goal rule after losing 1-0 to BYC of Liberia in Moronvia.
The first leg ended 2-1 in Kumasi a week ago.
�I can�t believe that we have been ousted, I can�t understand. We have disappointed the fans and it�s very sad," Crying Abeiku Ainooson told peace fm.
Meanwhile, the defeated Kumasi Asante Kotoko contingent will return home later on Monday evening.
Abeiku Ainooson has played for several Ghanaian teams and on 1st July 2013, Ainooson signed for Asante Kotoko from New Edubiase
