The Ghanaian striker says he wept after seeing his side humiliated in his absence against Nantes in the Ligue 1.
Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris has stated that he wept over the weekend as Valenciennesďż˝ quest for survival in the French Ligue 1 was dealt another big blow with a 6-2 thrashing by Nantes.
Waris missed the game after having an injury in training and was in the stands as his side was humiliated.
�I know the feeling. I myself almost cried after the game over the weekend,� Waris tweeted.
The budding forward who has netted nine goals in 12 league games since his January loan move is expected to be back on Saturday to face Guingamp.
