The young striker wants to score at least two more on the final day of matches of the Ghana top-flight to equal Eric Bekoe's 17 goals in 2007.
Bechem United striker Augustine Okrah is eyeing two more goals to equal Eric Bekoes record of 17 in the 2007-08 season to win the Ghana Premier Leagues goal king diadem.
Okrah is leading the goals scorer's chart with 15 strikes after hitting a hat-trick against Medeama to put the Hunters in a good position to maintain their league status ahead of the final day of matches.
The dream of winning the goal king title is now becoming a reality, Okrah told Goal Ghana. I've scored 12 goals in 12 league games in the second round [total of 15] which underlines the effort I've invested in my games but I wish to complete the season with at least 17 goals although I've achieved my set target because there's one more game today.
The nimble footed forward is hopeful that Bechem United will survive relegation, adding that a win is imminent against Amidaus on Wednesday.
We will surely beat the relegation battle this season, a draw with Amidaus is even enough for us to play in next season's edition but we're going all out to win to avoid any mathematical calculations at the end.
Okrah is leading the goal scorer's chart with 15 goals, three ahead of Seidu Bancey of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
