The rearguard picked up a slight muscle injury during training and exercised separately from the main team on Sunday ahead of a friendly against South Korea.
Ghana defender Daniel Opare may not be fielded in the international friendly against South Korea on Monday evening due to a muscle pain.
According to the Ghana FA website, Opare trained separately from the main team Sunday night as coach Kwesi Appiah fine tunes his strategies ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The guardsman is being rested in order to gain full fitness with just three days to the main event.
So far, we've had no problems, coach Kwesi Appiah told the FAs website. We have just one muscle problem.
Opare has been exercising with the physios and remains a doubt ahead of the warm-up game against South Korea at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami.
