Black Stars deputy captain, Andre Dede Ayew has said that the team will end the nation’s 35- year wait for the AFCON trophy.
“We will bring the cup to Ghana God willing.” Ayew told the press.
The West Ham skipper said the team will signal their preparedness to winning the coveted trophy by defeating the Cranes of Uganda in their opening game tomorrow.
“It’s a must win game against the Cranes of Uganda. It is going to be a difficult match but we know we have to win the match.
“We have been charged to win the trophy and that is our aim but before we have to win the ultimate we have to win our opening match but I can assure all Ghanaians we will bring the trophy home,” he added.
