The renowned Ghanaian official was slapped with a hefty punishment after being banned from any football relegated activities for awarding a dubious penalty for South Africa in a World Cup qualifier against Senegal.
Lamptey having initially been suspended for three months was sanctioned by the World Football governing body after a thorough investigation.
