Chief Executive Officer of Databank, Kwadwo Addai Mensah has expressed disappointment in the world football governing body, FIFA for threatening to suspend Ghana if the Government refuses to call off the charges made against GFA.
According to FIFA, the corruption allegations made against Ghana Football Association in Anas’ “Number 12” is not a clear reason for the Ghanaian government to ‘Slap’ GFA with liquidation process.
FIFA has given Ghana government up to 27th August 2018 to withdraw all charges against GFA or face suspension.
However, the Boss of Databank, Mr Kwadwo Addai Mensah in an interview on Asempa FM stated that he is very disappointed in FIFA for their decision against Ghana.
“I disagree with the liquidation of the Ghana Football Association and I had no problem with the Executive Committee’s decision to go to court and seek interpretation, it is within their right.”
“FIFA has completely disappointed me, they can’t give a sovereign country an ultimatum,” he said.

common sense should tell the government that if someone in an institution is involved in any corrupt act, we don't dissolve the institution rather punish the individuals involved. either than that all government institutions would have be dissolved including our high court and supreme court.
People like @NS and the politics of insults. Where did we go, Ghana. Now only few people in Ghana can speak without insulting?
You won't mind your Data Bank business, you think your ***barred word***.ish.ne.ss and FIFA are on the same level, nan.sins.
it is sad that this govt has blindly followed unnecessary sentiments of certain selfish individuals to get itself in this mess. this was a straight forward and simple issue to be dealt with but what do we see now? FIFA has done nothing wrong; its rules are very simple, join it and follow its rules or you back out.
Well Kojo , nobody forces you to be a member of FIFA. However think of the opportunities the country misses if left out of FIFA 1. Out of CAF competitions 2. Out of FIFA competitions 3. Player transfers out of Ghana in LIMBO 4. Local teams cannot compete 5. Getting back to FIFA will take sometime. Why would Ghana Govt want to collapse GFA because of the indiscretions of one man. What of the 2 GFA officials who did not fall for the Bribery . It was wrong move for the Govt to in the first place seek to dissolve the GFA. Anybody taught of how the loacl teams are paying salaries in the absence of league. As always in ghana we manage by PANIC reaction. dont be a PANIC 'REACTOR' Thanks, Victor
according to akufo addo, ghana is NOT a sovereign country because we owe international donors. in fact, akuffo addo has open the gates for Americans to come with in with nothing but an ID Card, drive without permit, use our ports without paying, shoooot people without accountability. so who opened the doors for private organisation to piiissssss on this country?? after J.B Danquah's treachiry of selling the country to the CIA, his underachieving 3rd class kin has brought the country to an all-time low.
Blaa Kwadwo, kindly define a sovereign country for me and then tell me if Ghana is indeed a sovereign country. Thank you
