Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has no intention of walking away despite the Black Stars utterly embarrassing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
Black Stars crashed out of the tournament at the group stage following a shocking 3-2 defeat against debutants Comoros on Tuesday evening.
Black Stars were expected to win to stand a chance of advancing to the next stage with four points as they lost their opening game against Morocco and drew with Gabon.
But Comoros, a side ranked 132 by FIFA, produced probably their greatest performance ever to stun Ghana, who played over 65 minutes with 10 men as Andre Ayew was sent off.
The Serbian, who was reappointed in September, is under pressure to step down, but wants to continue.
"I will stay and lead Ghana in the World Cup Qualifiers in March," Rajevac said.
"My target was to qualify Ghana for the World Cup, this AFCON is my primary target. I am looking forward to qualifying Ghana for the world cup in March."
World Cup play-offs draw will be conducted this Saturday, January 22, 2022.

He should be sacked!! He must take full responsibility for this debacle. Why select Kunduz and Wakaso when they were unfit? At CAN 2008 that long-teeth Claude Deroy did the same mistake when he selected Eliasu who was not fit. So when John Mensah was red-carded in the match against Nigeria, he had to use Essien in defence in the next match with Cameroon. Essien was moved forward when Cameroon scored late in the game but it too late for him to push further. Couldn't our best players in the league have played better than these foreign-based players who looked weary after 75mins? Finally, it's poetic justice for the sacking of our own CK who qualified the team to this CAN 2021. CK had challenges with a couple of matches at the world cup qualifiers but that was not a compelling reason for his dismissal. The GFA must also take the blame for depriving CK of his official residence as coach of the national team. Finally, finally, the government must explain the reason it went back on its own words against the hiring of foreign coaches. Milovan must be sacked!! He is only thinking of padding his C.V. and not taking responsibility for the embarrassment to the country. kwashiasane!!!
