A market survey conducted by the Ghana News Agency at the Tema Station noted that, prices of commodities were still stable as there was no increment since January.
Mrs Gertrude Azusa, a shop keeper at the Tema Station, told the GNA that a half kilo of rice which was been sold at GH� 20 and GH� 19 was still sold at the same prices without any increment.
She said prices of sugar, biscuits, gari and many more are still selling at the same prices.
Mrs Gladys Amoah, cloth dealer, said GTP is being sold at GH� 65.00 for a half of piece of Super Print and GH� 45.00 for a half of piece of Nustyle.
She said "Vlisco cloth, is which Hollandaise, is selling at GH�150.00 for half piece while "High Target," sells at GH�24.00 for half piece, Chinese made clothes is also selling as low GH�6 for a half of piece.
GNA observed during the visit to Tema Station that prices of shoes ranged from GH�50 to as high as GH�150 while hand bags in other shops visited ranged from GH�30 to as high as GH�200.
