The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu on Friday presented the 2021 Budget statement and economic policy.

President Akufo-Addo in a statement to the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin on Thursday said the Suame MP will present the statement to Parliament.

The presentation of the budget statement would have been done by the Finance Minister-designate, Ken Ofori-Atta. However, due to ill health, he's unable to do that.

It may be recalled that a statement from the Finance Ministry indicated that Ken Ofori-Atta is seeking medical treatment outside the country for post-Covid-19 related implications.
