Madam Georgina Nkrumah Aboah, District Chief Executive for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa, has appealed to individuals and organisations to pay back loans given them by financial institutions to enable others to also benefit from the scheme.
She said any form of a loan is not a gift and urged beneficiaries to honour the terms and regulations regarding its payment.
Madam Aboah said this at the inauguration of a branch of the Assinman Rural Bank at Breman Asikuma, bringing the number of its branches in the Central Region to 10.
Mr Frank Owusu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank hoped that the opening of the branch in the area would help the people to improve their businesses and living conditions.
Nana Afful Nyarko II, Krontehene of Breman Asikuma Traditional Area, who deputized for the Omanhene Odeefuo Amoakwa Buadu VIII, expressed the chiefs’ appreciation to the management of the bank for opening a branch in the area.
Nana Nyarko, who chaired the function, appealed to the staff of the bank to be courteous to customers to enable more people to patronize the facility.
