Government has reaffirmed its commitment to enhance the full participation of Ghanaians in the oil and gas sector.
This would be achieved by ensuring that all industry players abide by the provision of the local content policy.
Speaking at a local content policy workshop in Accra, Deputy Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Benjamin Dagadu, said the local content bill which is yet to be passed by parliament, seeks to ensure that government is able to stimulate based economic development.
This, he said, will link the oil sector to other sectors of the economy
