He says, “I was born poor but I was very sure I wasn’t going live as one. My tiny village in Italy was very limited in its ability and willingness to grow. I wasn’t. I was determined to steer my fate in the direction of the larger world. So motivated was I, that at the age of 17, I moved to Milan to see if my desire holds out. I felt naturally drawn to the real estate world and for the nest 25 years focused all my energies in building my legacy.”
Giuseppe’s story is captivating and motivating. Not only because he built his career from scratch but that he was willing to start over again on a new soil. When he found himself unable to make more room for his dreams in Italy, he and his wife “decided to move to America. We’d never been there. We didn’t know the culture. We didn’t even speak the language. But my determination to test myself against a new horizon and its challenges was bigger than anything that could have kept me in Italy. It took me 7 attempts to clear the real estate test but I persevered. And it’s only because I was able to persevere I am now proud to participate and contribute to the American dream. Perseverance is the mindset that can take you places. Its lacking, however, can make sure you stay stuck where you are.”
