Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic has revealed he could have joined Real Madrid last summer.
The 24-year-old Montenegro star instead signed for City in a £22million deal from Fiorentina in July but has seen his first-team opportunities limited by a persistent calf injury.
He made a goalscoring return to the team in the 5-1 win at Tottenham though, and told the Manchester Evening News that he is fully committed to the City 'project'.
