Two persons on Monday appeared before the Kade District Magistrate's Court on a provisional charge of murder.
The pleas of Emmanuel Aduamoah, a farmer, and Ebenezer Tei, a driver, were not taken and they were remanded in police custody until January 21.
Police Chief Inspector Eric Tetteh Zorh told the court that the two accused persons lived at Anweam near Asuom together with Kwadwo Asante, the deceased.
He said on January 03, the three men went to a nearby bush at Aduamah village but the two accused persons returned home without Asante.
The chief was informed about the disappearance of Asante and he organized a search party that found his body in a palm plantation.
A report was made to the police and Aduamoah and Tei were arrested.
