Two people have been killed in two separate shooting incidents at Drobonso and Agogo in the Ashanti Region in what is believed to be a reprisal attack by nomadic cattle herders.
One of the victims, 25-year-old Abdul Latif, was allegedly shot at close range with a single barrel gun.
He was killed near David Akuraa between Sekyere Afram Plains and Agogo while returning from a funeral.
Reports say angry some residents of Afirisre from Agogo Central District had earlier shot an unidentified man believed to be a nomad.
The locals attacked the herdsman following suspicion that the death of a farmer was caused by nomadic herdsmen.
