The vice chancellors of public universities, have invited executives of the Federation of Universities Senior Staff Association (FUSSAG), to end the industrial action the association initiated last Monday.
Mr Jacob Emmanuel Eshun, General Secretary of FUSSAG, told Ghana News Agency in an interview on Thursday, that though the association would honour the invitation, the strike would continue until their agitations are resolved.
He said some of the issues include payment of market premium allowance and 15 per cent allowance.
Mr Eshun accused Fair Wages and Salary Commission of feet dragging in approving their genuine demands.
He said he expects the National Labour Commission to arbitrate to bring amicable solution to the impasse.
