In a bid to enhance the quality of herbal and locally manufactured products, the institute of Packaging Ghana has been sensitizing Manufacturers to effective packaging.
This is to ensure that products meet international standards and regulations.
Speaking at a workshop in Accra, the Second Vice President of the Institute, Mrs Caroline Tsikata, said packaging is an important aspect of production which must not be taken for granted, adding that with the current trend in marketing, producers of herbal products must incorporate science and Technology in their packaging to prolong the shelve life of products and make it attractive.
