The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has ended its elections with Mr Affail Monney as the President.
The new President elect of the GJA stood unopposed and was elected accordingly.
The election which started at 7am and ended at about 5pm was held in selected media houses nationwide with the International Press Centre serving as the collation centre. Officials of the Electoral Commission assisted the Association in counting and declaring the results.
Mr. Mathias Tibu, of the Ghana Institute of Journalism was also elected as the Vice President and Mr Dave Agbenu as the General Secretary.
The rest are Linda Asante-Agyei, National Treasurer; Mary Tawiah Mensah, Public Affairs Director and Mr. Rogking Clottey as the Organising Secretary.
