The Judicial Service Workers Association of Ghana (JUSAG) has called off their indefinite strike action declared on Tuesday.
Court activities came to a standstill when judicial service workers embarked on an indefinite strike demanding that government pays all outstanding allowances which have been in arrears for several months.
Haruna Iddrisu, Minister of Employment and Labour Relations after a meeting held on Thursday with the executives of JUSAG indicated that the Finance Ministry has released money to pay all the outstanding allowances.
JUSAG, after confirming that the Finance Ministry has indeed paid the arrears, called off the strike and asked its members to resume work today.
