Ghana’s Second Lady, Mrs Matilda Amissah-Arthur has courted controversy after she turned down a request to provide chalk and other logistics to Kukurantumi Presby Primary School.
The request was made by the Headmistress of the school who was playing the role of ‘Oliver Twist’ by asking for more after the Second Lady presented five computers and accessories to the school.
Many people have condemned the Second Lady’s Comment as they feel it is the responsibility of government to provide chalk and other items needed to provide education in the country.
