The alleged killer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu says he didn't intend to kill him (MP).
According to the suspect, Daniel Asiedu, his main intention was to go to his (MP) room to steal but in the processing of doing so, the late MP woke up and held him. During the struggle, he pulled out his knife and stabbed him several times until he fell down.
Asiedu on Tuesday appeared before the Accra Magistrate Court where he was charged with murder.
The court presided over by Mr Stephen Owusu remanded him in police custody to re-appear on March 1, 2016, per a report by Agya Kwabena.
