United Television [UTV] has been awarded for its contribution to the health sector with its educative health program dubbed, My Health My Life.
UTV has been consistent with its health advocacy programs to its viewers over the years.
This has won the station and host of the program Miss Abigail Ashley an award at the 6th African Health Legendary Awards held at the British Council in Accra.
According to the organizers, UTV’s quest and well research health related topics in providing general knowledge, preventive and wellness to its viewers across the country has been tremendous.
Some awardees include, Prof. Agyeman Badu Akosa , he won the African Health Personality Award, Dr. Ekow Grimmond Thompson, a Brain Surgeon took home the Research Personality of the Year and Dr. Cecelia Bentsil was adjudged the Female Health Personality of the year award.
Others took home citations for their contributions to the health sector.
