The President and founder of UNITED GHANA, a Ghanaian based association in China, Selorm Amedorme a.k.a MR SEA, has challenged Ghanaians abroad to help the Ghanaian government in its efforts to freeing Ghana from the state of dependency on foreign aid to a state of independency.
He said the collective support from Ghanaians with good financial standing both within and outside Ghana will go a long way to propelling Ghana to attaining its financial freedom.
The President made the request in an exclusive interview with UTV reporter, Ebenezer Ayeh after he led a delegation to make donations to Ho Centre for Leprosy in the Volta region, Koforidua Prisons and Huhunya Children’s Home in the Eastern Region.
Mr Amedorme called on Ghanaians across the diaspora to think of initiatives that will complement efforts of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the ruling New Patriotic Party to making Ghana an independent nation on the continent.
Mr Amedorme also used the opportunity to appreciate all donors and encourage them to support the foundation and replicate the event year by year.

United Ghana has done well and it’s the hope others emulate the good work of this union. God bless United ghana
good job.
This Ayigbe weku. nobody want to be part of this group. it will be better to join Chinese community in China to Join any Ghanaian association who can not even make a call to the police when someone is arrested. even the Ghana embassy should be shut down. they are hopeless people. Apart from Mr Agyari. who was very supportive and concerned citizen
May God bless united Ghana for this gesture, I believe when all Ghanaians abroad realized this that, we all have the responsibilities to extend our hands to the less previledge in our society, then Ghana will be moving forward. The authorities too must stop the corrupt act so that more people will also have the sense of belongingness to be part of the nation building . May God bless united Ghana union and may God bless Ghana.
