The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released results of the teachers’ promotion interview held recently.
According to a release from the Head of the PR Unit of the Service, Ms. Cassandra Twum-Ampofo, for the Deputy Director Grade, 2,344 candidates attended the interview out of which 1,340 representing 57.17% were successful.
For the Assistant Director I grade, 7,327 attended out of which 4,601 representing 62.80% successful were followed by the Assistant Director II grade for which 14, 945 were successful representing 64.07%.
Besides, 1,393 representing 68.79% out of a total of 2,025 were successful for the principal superintendent grade.
In all, 22,279 candidates out of 33,800 representing 66.2% were successful.
The results of the non-teaching staff will be released soon.
